Ta-da! Here comes the most lip-smacking blog of mine. Here are some varieties of biryanis available in Chennai from different unique restaurants.

Gilli Biryani - One of the costliest biryanis in Chennai. Anise is the all-day diner at Taj Coromandel, Chennai, from where it originated. The price is INR 1,350 + taxes throughout Chennai.

Amburcanteen - Made by chef mohideen , this Muslim style biryani from small town Ambur in Tamil Nadu is known for its unique flavour of marinated meat in yoghurt, red chilli paste and traditional spices 😋 Also try chawal ki Roti with kheema when you are here or Kheema paan cake :)

Dinewithmustard - This indo French pretty place in #nungambakkam serves Kolkata style biryani which is very mildly spiced with saffron and sweet ittar. The hallmark is the egg and potato . This is not your typical biryani so if you like spicy food you may not like this. It’s more sweeter :)

Madurai Veeran Restaurant - Vella or white biryani - don’t go by the white color of this biryani :) This is one of my favourite biryani because it’s got simple delicate flavours. Pallavas.chennai in sterling road makes the best Kerala style prawn thalassery biryani.

Pandia's Avenue in Royapuram has a very distinct and special in-house formula rich in coriander and mint. It’s a recipe that is just specific to this place and became a hit among the locals :) The biryani looks green in color :) Please expect large crowds at this place 😅.

Similarly, I began my preparations for the red carpet on November 1st. You might wonder, what preparations did I go through?
